Gulf Mark for GCC Product Conformity Marking

Since 1 July 2016, GCC conformity marking using the Gulf mark, also known as the G-mark, has become mandatory for certain types of electrical products intended for sale within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen).

Low-voltage products have been divided into two lists: List 1 and List 2.  The assessment of List 2 products must be conducted by an officially recognized Gulf Standards Organization (GSO) Notified Body, such as Nemko.
